Parks turning point

Jisung Park

By his own admission, Ji-sung Park has not yet hit peak form this season, but the Korean is confident the international break will kick-start his campaign.

Despite featuring heavily in United's unbeaten start in all competitions, Park declared after the Champions League win in Valencia that he was unhappy with how he has played so far.

The Reds winger has reiterated those thoughts back in his homeland, but insists he'll improve on his return from international duty.

Park, who will captain South Korea in Tuesday's friendly with Japan, told ManUtd.kr: I know some people haven't been satisfied with my recent performances.

It is not a hangover from the World Cup, but perhaps I was not mentally fully prepared for the new season.

I'm not worried. You have many ups and downs as a player and I'm sure I will get better.

The friendly with Japan will be the first step. This international break will be the turning point for me and my performances will improve when I return to United.
